Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers offered reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can help build more inclusive communities.

Throughout the gathering, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
